Season 4
S4 is summed up well in these lyrics from 'Serpents by Sharon Van Etten'
"Serpents in my mind, looking for your cries, Everything changes,I don't want life to"
In S4 a song (Serpents) by Indie/Folk singer-songwriter Sharon Van Etten was used twice.
Once in the season Trailer (electric version) and once in a ending episode scene (acoustic version).
The Season 4 Trailer (electric version) used throughout the trailer but clearly at 2:30 of the vid.
Sharon Van Etten - Serpents (performing it live
This song is used in a scene with Hershel reflecting as things are falling apart in the prison.
And he learned about Rick banishing Carol from the group.
Ben Howard - Oats in the Water [The Walking Dead Season 4 Episode 5 Internment]
This song is used in the opening scene where we see The Gov wandering around until he finally meets and
joins a new family. This is when we meet the new character Tara.
Ben Nichols - The Last Pale Light In The West
Season 4 Second Half
The Walking Dead Season 4 Returns
The Walking Dead: Blackbird's Song as shown on TV episode "Alone" by Lee DeWyze
Bob has lost all members of 2 groups now, he wanders alone,
he finally meets up with Rick's group and joins them.
Inside Episode 413: The Walking Dead: Alone
The Walking Dead S4, Beth (Emily Kinney) Singing To Daryl - Be Good
separated from the group Beth & Daryl take shelter in a funeral home.
Emily Kinney went on to make her own music video from this song. You can search it on youtube.
In all fairness this is the original song it all came from.

Glenn, Maggie, Sasha, Tara, Bob, Abraham, Rosita and Eugene arrive at Terminus. They search around and
explore until they are greeted and welcomed to the sanctuary by Mary
Be Not So Fearful by AC Newman is the song used in this ending episode.
But we find out that's not true at all.
