Mrs. Fredericks said the "Forever Wrong" song would have been released with Sawyer's new album, but it will stay put with Albom's project. She said Sawyer's song could be considered for an Oscar some day.
"The label is planning ahead for the chance of it qualifying for an Oscar, as most of Mitch's novels become movies," Kirsten Fredericks says. "Something about Academy Award regulations stipulated that a song has to appear only on that soundtrack. Sawyer was just encouraged and proud that the label saw 'Forever Wrong' as a contender, and very honored that Mitch had come to him to be part of this project."
Rumors are swirling Republic Records will be releasing Fredericks' latest album by Thanksgiving. The Leader-Herald was unable to talk to Sawyer, and he is not doing interviews at this time.

The Magic Strings Of Frankie Presto (Musical Companion) is currently out of stock online (again) at Barnes and Noble.
Maybe that's why it's not charting now on their 100 Bestsellers.
It makes me think if it was a good idea to give them exclusivity to sell the physical CD. Christmas is coming and lots of people may be trying to buy the book with the musical companion as Christmas gift.
