Okay someone explain that ending to me, I'm confused Was the whole murder faked? he was sending the Girlfriend away on a boat at the end, was all of that just to sober up his daughter and make her live right? I loved the movie though, thought it was well done Thanks I enjoyed it , Shin Hye was really good in that serious role. and yes the ending was bit confusing and not played out very well, for such a good story with a lot of twists, I think they skimped on the ending. I had to watch the ending twice before I finally put it together. Or at least I think I have. All the ending scenes were past tense and happened in Thailand, you can tell because of the shirt he was wearing. Anyway I'll put it in a spoiler. His daughter really did kill her and the stalker guy had that original video of it. So he had the stalker (the CCTV guy) work with him on making fake tape showing himself as the killer. But he needed her to go thru the trail and also not make it obvious that he had other evidence. BECAUSE , once he knew she would be found not guilty she could never be charged with the same crime again. AND he got Shin Hye to be his Layer so she could never divulge the truth either (client/lawyer privilege). So now if he goes to court again, he has the tape that shows her really doing it and he can possibly get off. The girls that played the doubles in the fake film were paid off and sent away by boat so they would never be found either. SO the girls he got as doubles from the THAILAND night club. that's my take on the ending. Which the ending was really a flashback to thailand, and the true ending was him showing up in court to be on trail, which we never really know the outcome. But he now has the real video of his daughter actually was at fault.

wrote out a long reply, then got the freaking BlueBear and it all went away, I hate that. Thanks for the explaination, that's what I thought, it was just that GF on the boat that threw me off, rewound that a few times thinking 'huh?' I like her in the serious role too, all the acting was good I thought. I recently rewatched My Annoying Brother and thought she was good in that also

I recently rewatched My Annoying Brother and thought she was good in that also Yeah the girlfriend look a like he picked out of those escort girls in Thailand, you can see him looking at her info card while he was the table, then he pointed out to his assistant to pick her. I think somewhere along the way he had to explain to her way he needed her for the filming and along the way they must have bonded because she looked so much like her. That added to the confusion of "is it really her' ? it just wasn't written well as a conclusion. He also picked out the daughter look a like. Remember when the real daughter went back to him in jail , she said to him "you really didn't think that I believed that girl in the fake film was me" Over all it made me think too hard i like twists , but that was a doozy. I think they rushed it because the movie was rather long to begin with
