It's still a huge big deal, those are over a hundred dollars, you can just buy plates for it The top plate seals in the food and heat, and if you bake a cake without it you will get a blob on the counter www.georgeforemancooking.com/evolve/plates.aspx#GFP84PXlooking for ones online too, or maybe they will have some at your goodwill

What is the Top plate for the Bake dish bottom, Is it just the normal grille top plate? When you look at the Bake plate, it shows only 1 . Doesn't show what's being used for a top plate. I wouldn't mind spending the extra money if I was sure. I may also just wait and see if I get lucky and find another one like it at GW. There's so many different models x_x Mine is a GRP6EGQ Evolve . When you use your bake dish do you also put on a different top?

the top for the Bake dish is the Basic Grill Top plate, so if you can get that, or the grill plates set, you'll be set on the back, they say upper and lower, so you can check that if you see some pretty sure that's the same model that I have, I don't have the ceramic plates and sear button that the newest ones have, but I like mine a lot! I think you can find plates cheaper if you keep an eye out, the non-stick black or the ceramic ones should fit the same. you could take your grill with you if you shop around to try them out

I bought another GF grille today , for 6$ , and it has a chrome bumper in front It looks almost new and has 2 spatulas and 2 grease catchers and removable plates. I also saw the biggest GF ever , but I didn't get it. Was so big it had a split top , either side could be open separately. I took a small video of it. But people were over my shoulder and making me rage. The store was mobbed, was making me sweat. video of Big George Grill omgomgomg drive.google.com/file/d/0B-mB37iJ_COmOGIxZHQyZXM4Zk0/view?usp=sharingMy new grill I got , Chrome Bumper George

those look good, you gonna try it? "An egg wash is beaten eggs, sometimes mixed with another liquid such as water or milk, which is brushed onto the surface of a pastry before baking." it gives pastries a shine and deeper color, also used to seal pastries together on the edges on turnovers and pies and stuff
