My Cake Disaster yesterday Made the Betty Crocker Butter Yellow cake mix same as before. put it in the pan set it for 13 minutes, and started doing some dishes and cleaning, then a while later I looked over and it was like the Blob escaping from the pan, out the front of the grill, all over, on to the counter, and made a huge mess. I finally figured out I didn't shut the lid right so it would go all the way down in the front. I won't ever do that again

OMG This is so delicious I can't believe it, I thought the grill might make it too dense, but it's light and moist, and such a great flavor. just put white icing on this one, that's what was on hand

Potato Pancakes on the GF I finally got the method down and they came out so good. Here's what I did. Mine were in the freezer, so step one was to thaw / pre heat in microwave for 1 minute. I used light coating of Pam Butter Spray on the lower grill surface. Spooned on the potatos in a mound. Used the plastic utensil to pat down the potato into a patty (about the thickness of a burger) and then sprinkled in lightly on top with Italian style seasoned bread crumbs. Poking them down into the potato. Leave the lid UP and let cook for at least 6 minutes or so. Use the utensil to keep the potato in form , but do not move or turn the potatos. You will know when it's ready to lower the lid when you can actually 'slide' the pancake on the grill by nudging it with the utensil. Once you can do that. Sprinkle more seasoned bread crumbs on the top and don't work them in. Just coat the top.Now close the lid and let cook for another at least 4 minutes. You can occasionally peek at this point. When the top is a golden brown you can actually put a plate near the bottom of the grill and nudge the potato pancake off, it should just slide now. smileycooking2 it came out so good and was best potato pancakes I ever had. These are the bread crumbs I used.
