i have just read about this today +++++++++++++ Wednesday May 15th. 2019 - kl. 15:29 Got light equipment in the head: Eurovision hit by fatality A 66-year-old driver has lost his life in connection with the music competition in Tel Aviv The 66-year-old Israeli driver Fuldi Schwartz was hit by a heavy piece of light equipment on Monday, when he was carrying the equipment from a truck in a parking lot to the Tel Aviv Expo, where the large-scale show this week is running out . It writes among other things The Times of Israel and the news agency Reuters . After the accident - causing serious head injuries, broken ribs, a punctured lung and a damaged spine - he was admitted to the Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv. His condition worsened on Tuesday, and the doctors declared him dead at. one night on Wednesday. Schwartz, who comes from the city of Pardes Hanna in Israel, leaves behind his wife Dalia and the children Erez and May. The fatal accident, which is now being investigated by police and labor inspectorates, has led to criticism of the Eurovision organizers, who are accused of not having sufficient control over the workers' safety. Eurovision has issued a message that sends their warmest thoughts and compassion to the relatives and announces that they intend to work with the authorities to get to the bottom of the case. On Tuesday, the first of the two semi-finals ran out of the stack. Thursday finds the second semi-final place. Here, Danish Leonora will be on stage and try to sing on to Saturday's final. translate.google.com/translate?sl=da&tl=en&u=https%3A%2F%2Fekstrabladet.dk%2Fflash%2Fkultur%2Ffik-lys-udstyr-i-hovedet-eurovision-ramt-af-doedsulykke%2F7635074 (translated in english)
