Sawyer Fredericks Songs Ranked, Because 'The Voice' Season 8 Winner Has A Lot Of Great Tunes

The Voice Season 9 singers are currently facing their Blind Auditions, but even once they make it onto the show, it's a long road to the finals — but, at least that road is paved with a lot of great music. Sixteen-year-old crooner Sawyer Fredericks was crowned The Voice Season 8 champion after covering and making so much awesome music on the show. And, that's why I think it's about time I ranked Sawyer Fredericks' songs, because not all of his tunes are created equal — but most of them are pretty darn great.
Fredericks got a four-chair turn during his own Blind Audition in Season 8, during which he chose Pharrell Williams as his coach. The teen sang his heart out throughout the Battle stage and remain consistent during the elimination rounds. Fredericks made it to the finals along with Meghan Linsey, Williams teammate Koryn Hawthrone, and Joshua Davis, but it would be Fredericks who would ultimately take home The Voice trophy and win the recording contract. Lately, the singer has been performing all over the place and has been going back and forth to Los Angeles, where he's recording new music, perhaps for an album to showcase that award-winning (ahem) voice of his.
But, before Fredericks gives us some new music, let's rank what he's given the world — and YouTube — so far.

Pharrell Williams Will He Beat Gwen Stefani & Blake Shelton On ‘The Voice’ Again? Mon, October 12, 2015 4:24pm EDT by Michelle Phi
Pharrell Williams was victorious on ‘The Voice’ last season when his protege Sawyer Fredericks won the competition! He totally beat Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton, and Adam Levine, but does the producer think he’ll win again this season?
The ninth season of The Voice just started, so anything is possible! Pharrell Williams, 42, had his first win last season when Sawyer Fredericks, 16, was announced the winner, but is his winning streak going to continue? Ellen DeGeneres, 57, asked if the 42-year-old thinks he’s going to win again and his answer was a surprising one!
“I don’t,” Pharrell said. “Last year I didn’t go into it thinking that we were going to win. I just went into it thinking I wanna make sure people leave here changed. They come in one way, I want to make sure they leave lifted and feeling like they can ascend.” Glad to see the producer’s first Voice win didn’t change him! Watch his answer below. When Sawyer won on the eighth season, Pharrell had an interesting piece of advice for the 16-year-old. “You know, you have to think about the farm and the family that provided the incredible conditions that made the story so Sawyer,” the 42-year-old hitmaker told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “That’s great, man! You gotta go back home. It’s about family, and this is a family show.” The Voice is also a competition, which reportedly led to some feuds on the set. On the same season as Pharrell’s win, there were rumors that he and fellow coach Adam Levine, 36, were not getting along.
Were Pharrell And Adam Feuding On Season 8 Of ‘The Voice?’ Pharrell and Adam were reportedly not getting along on the previous season. However, a source close to the show shut that rumor down. “This is beyond not true. Everyone on the set when it comes to the mentors gets along just fine,” the source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. Pharrell has such a calm and positive demeanor, we can’t imagine him not getting along with anyone!
Tell us, HollywoodLifers! Who are you rooting for on this season of The Voice?

6 Songs 'The Voice' Winner Sawyer Fredericks Should Cover Next
Attachment DeletedJason Davis/Getty Images Entertainment/Getty Images NICOLE POMARICO by BUSTLE 22 hours ago ENTERTAINMENT Last season, it was hard not to get distracted by his luscious blonde locks every time Sawyer Fredericks took the stage on The Voice — until he opened his mouth to sing, of course. He might only be 16 years old, but if you traded places with Adam Levine on during that first audition night and listened to only his voice, you'd think it'd be coming out of someone much older. He's obviously incredibly talented (talented enough to become the show's youngest winner ever, actually), and since he's still relatively new to the scene, much of the performances he's known for have been Fredericks putting his own twist on the songs he loves. Between his performances on The Voice and on his YouTube channel, it's clear that Fredericks is destined for success — especially where his cover songs are concerned.
And even though Fredericks is far more likely to be found on his family's farm than playing gigs all over LA, his talent is way too impressive to waste. Hopefully, he's planning on making a surprise appearance on this season of The Voice, and if he does, I have some song requests for him.
Here are a few songs Fredericks should cover next. Based on his past performances, he'd slay these.

You know what I was doing at age 16? Avoiding my chemistry homework, working at a pizzeria, and perfecting the art of the sitting out during gym class. But The Voice champion Sawyer Fredericks is not a typical, lackadaisical kid. No, he's a whole lot more focused than that. I mean, with that much talent and charm it's no wonder why he clinched the title during Season 8. The question is, though, is Sawyer Fredericks going on tour? Because I don't know about you, but I'd really like to catch a show of his.
From what I've gathered, Fredericks does not seem to be on tour at the moment. But just because he isn't headlining his own one-man show, does not mean he isn't performing. According to his website, the last show he played was on Oct. 12 in Nashville, Tennessee. I'll admit, it's a bit difficult to find tickets to see the singer perform, but if you really want to get a chance to see him live, there are definite ways of being in the know.
First, it would be wise of you to follow Fredericks on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. On his social media accounts, the teen frequently posts about his new journey as a Voice winner and that includes informing fans about his shows. Another way to be in the know about his performances is by signing up for the newsletter sent out by his website. Or, by visiting the "Contact" page and submitting a request for more information on concerts.
While you may be a bit bummed that there doesn't appear to be an official Sawyer Fredericks tour just yet, it's nothing to get too worked up over. Clearly, he is on the path to doing bigger and better things, and I'm sure a tour is in his (and your) future. In the meantime, though, you can have your own private tour at home by tuning into his YouTube channel. Problem solved.

What Is Sawyer Fredericks' Net Worth? 'The Voice' Winner Is Likely Doing Well For Himself

The eventual Season 8 winner of The Voice, Sawyer Fredericks shot to instant fame when he showed up to the blind auditions of The Voice and wowed the judges with his amazingly soulful rendition of "I Am A Man Of Constant Sorrow." All four of the judges turned around to scoop him up and America immediately fell in love with the young artist. Fredericks went on to win Season 8 and fans of the show have eagerly watched his career blossom. So, curious minds can't help but ponder the question, what is Sawyer Fredericks' net worth?
Most people watching the show assumed Sawyer would find a home with Blake Shelton as a coach, but he shocked everyone by choosing Pharrell. It turns out that he made a brilliant decision because the unconventional choice has since rewarded him handsomely.
CelebrityPetal.com (www.celebritypetal.com/sawyer-fredericks-net-worth/) reports that Sawyer's net worth could be well into the $2 million range, which is not a bad living for anyone... never mind a 16-year-old. Although there's no way of knowing whether that number is correct, I wouldn't be surprised since winning a TV reality show is a big deal. This teenager from a little town in Connecticut has probably already made himself an impressive living as a musician, and he isn't even old enough to vote yet.
Pharrell Williams revealed during a press event to kick off the ninth season of The Voice that he had been in the studio with Sawyer after he won Season 8. Pharrell also said in an interview with HollywoodLife.com that there was an album in the works and that he would be there in the studio with Sawyer whenever he wanted him. So, we know there is an album that will make it's way into the universe sometime soon, with a very real possibility of a Pharrell cameo or collaboration of some kind. That's only going to shoot Sawyer up even higher in the stratospheres of earning.
Recording his own album isn't the only thing on Sawyer's mind, though. He also contributed a song to the soundtrack of The Magic Strings of Frankie Pesto, a novel by author Mitch Albom. Contributing to a bestselling author's newest project has to be bringing Sawyer in a pretty penny. Diversifying is definitely his strong suit. Sawyer also plays gigs around the United States and has profited pretty handsomely from all of his singles released from his stint and subsequent win on The Voice. One week he managed to have 14 singles land in the iTunes Top 200 Singles Chart, which set a new show record. At the end of his run, he had sold more than one million singles.
This kid is only going to become more successful the older he gets, as he receives more opportunities to share his voice with the world — and I'm not even complaining.
