Sawyer ignores Please like it never happened, and I loved that song

Sawyer put the song on the map. I don't like the song. It's Puppy Love, Sawyer's too hard edge. He'll just kill the girl if she doesn't please him. He's beat that Ray horse to death already and should move on to his own stuff, old and new. Tackle covers from some of the Greats. This is like taking candy from a baby.

I know it's not one of the Ray's best, and the recorded version was not my favorite, but I enjoy Please. Sawyer killed it in his live performance.
Ray was a way younger when he wrote this song, that's why he may have thought that would be a good choice for someone so young like Sawyer. Of course, he didn't know Sawyer.

That's a good article. You always learn something about him. We know he always had that hat but I think the general public associates that look, hat and vest with the show The Voice, he looked like that throughout the whole show. Unknowingly,he married his personal style to The Voice and The Album Cover of A good Storm too. All the Voice promo photos. Those visual images will forever be connected. Fortunately for him, he has different looks. Drop the hat, vest and maybe drop the stigma. IDK, tough break

Over the top article except, I wouldn't say he's androgynous. He always looked like a boy and now man to me. Has a typical Native American phenotype. His album cover art is totally androgynous and depicts him as such. Maybe there's something we don't know.
